Sony League
The GermanTeam is the German national robotic soccer team participating in the Four-Legged League in the international RoboCup competitions. It is a cooperation of several German universities: the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, the Universität Bremen, the Technische Universität Darmstadt, and the DFKI Lab Bremen1.

Many teams in the world have used the published source code and extensive documentation of the GermanTeam from 2004 and 2005 as an excellent starting basis for their development, e.g. in 2005 the Dutch Aibo Team, the German Hamburg Dog Bots, the Italian SPQR+Sicilia, Tec RAMS Mexico, and the Chinese teams Wright Eagle, TsinghuaHephaestus, and sharPKUngfu.

 2005 SOURCE CODE AND DOCUMENTATION
The source code used by the GermanTeam in the RoboCup 2005 is available for download. The archive contains all software necessary to conduct a soccer game. Tools are included as both C++ source code and Windows (XP/2000) binaries. Download GT2005.zip (52.3 MB). Licence.
You can download a script that installs all the tools needed to compile our programs (Cygwin, Open-R SDK, GTK, XSLT, ...). You don't need it if you have already installed these tools. Download GT-install.zip (96.6 MB).
The team report describes the robot code and all tools developed by the GermanTeam for the RoboCup 2005. Available here.
